Nigerian multi-talent Nneka delivers poignant number ‘With You’.

Born and raised around the Delta Reginas of Nigeria, at the age of 19 Nneka took the step to move to Germany for studies at Hamburg University. During her time studying, the singer-songwriter augmented her craft and began pursing music. Now one of her nations most celebrated starlets, Nneka’s music is timeless, expressive and nuanced.  After a five-year hiatus, Nneka recently returned with a run of crowd pleasing singles such as ‘Tea?’ And ‘This Life’, with the new offering sustaining her welcomed return to the public eye. 

Nneka’s vocals drift through the tender soundscape, with the progressive instrumental using choppy piano chords, sparse drums and delicate production as a basis for Nneka to unveil a vivid narrative of love and loss. The hook, rather than using lyricism and vocals, opts for a striking distorted melodic sequence; a compellingl supplement to the general atmosphere of the track. 

The accompanying video sees Adey Omotade make a guest appearance, with a narrative driven visual journey that highlights the potent emotions that Nneka is depicting through her writing.
