Mac Lloyd serves up some freshly squeezed soulful vocals in his first entry of the year The One, out now on Green Brick Records. 

Mac concluded last year with a delicious project titled Sweetheart Soul Jams Vol 2 which listens a bit like a studio album but with production qualities that raise it beyond- it is almost the sound of a glass of red by a fireplace. 

His latest single ‘The One’ focuses on his son and what he has brought to his life. Speaking on the track Mac said this: “Before he was around I struggled deeply with finding meaning, despite having my goals and aspirations they felt hollow… Simply put, my life would be very different without my son.”

Every riff, chord and word was written, produced and mixed by Mac himself; when lyrics come together with beats like this it is clear they have the same creator.
