Phuck School

Emerging London lyricist atlas azure continues to cement his style with inventive new single ‘Phuck School’.

The multi-faceted talent is quickly making a name for himself in the alternative rap field, following on from his impressive 2020 debut single ‘Talking to the Dead’ with this striking, effortless cut. An authentic and dynamic storyteller, atlas uses his own experiences and opinions to dive into social commentary through tongue in cheek narratives

The playful delivery and irreverent wordplay is juxtaposed with a more serious criticism of the education system, which atlas has become increasing frustrated by - he’s certainly not the only one. The accompanying video sees atlas and his friends rebelling in several settings within a school environmental, as we see the crew nostalgically acting up in classrooms, corridors and playgrounds. 

Speaking on the track, atlas said:

“There’s so many different reasons as to why “Phuck School”. Not every child learns in the same way but most are expected to, thirty kids in a class being taught via one style of learning that’s wild to me. That’s how you create robots.”
