Iz U Down

Late last month Sheffield rappers Caide Online and NavzWorld release a compelling EP together ‘Iz U Down?’ expressing different personal experiences for fans to indulge in. The project is rounded off with the headliner of the EP, the title track, ‘Iz U Down?’ leaving fans on an emotional high.

Both rappers hailing from the hills of Sheffield, Caide and Navz were on a mission to showcase a “new and refreshing sound” that had been missing from the music scene. Zimbabwean-born multi-creative Caide Online has dabbled in a range of production styles over time, whilst Navz was originally an aspiring professional football player who turned to his passion for music after the death of his best friend in 2018 and wanted to continue to honour his name.

Iz U Down? is an infectious track discussing that very question. The RnB style backing track mixed with the drums underneath the melodic vocals of NavzWorld make for a great within itself. However, with the addition of Caide’s world play, switching up the tone slightly and shaping the track into the perfect shubz track.
