Hack The Planet
Proving how versatile she is as an artist, BXKS unveiled her second album ‘Hack The Planet’ which takes a strong influence from grime, electronic and dancehall mixed with hard-hitting bars. Hailing from Luton, BXKS is navigating her way through the scene and leaving a mark with her dedicated fan base as well as gripping more and more listeners by the day.
This seven-track album comes after her ‘Full Time Daydreamer’ album that was unveiled earlier this year and an array of singles which successfully built up the hype surrounding this fresh release. BXKS pushes boundaries with ‘Hack The Planet’ and delves into another side of her musical abilities such as incorporating vocals on the track ‘L.U.V’ but also infusing culture and colour on tracks such as on ‘Bones 2 Pick’. As BXKS defines her musical identity within the UK rap scene, she intertwines an anime aesthetic with Y2K and futuristic elements.
As well as delivering visually, she has found her artistic pathway and has garnered a specific style alongside effortless flows such as for the track ‘321’ which was reminiscent of So Solid’s ‘21 Seconds’ in combination with The Matrix, featuring Oscar #Worldpeace.
As she continues to ascend in her career and move away from the generic rap scene, BXKS keeps us guessing what else she’ll have to offer, but we know for sure it won’t disappoint.
