French Jazz

Oo la la, it looks like Mushkilla has crossed the channel and came back with some lounge-ready hip hop in the form of ‘French Jazz’. While known for his UKG shellers, this offering is another example of the versatility Mush demonstrated on last month’s EP,  Not Another Garage MC.

GLOCKTA joins forces with Lavonz, (the focal producer of that aforementioned project), to flip and chop some samples, sprinkle in piano keys and pour on bottles of red. The co-producers cook up that smooth, jazzy hip hop we all know and love, also adding gourmet ingredients to the mix, matching Mushkilla’s five star flow.

The Bristol rhymer dims the lights and pairs his tracksuit with a trilby, dropping laid-back, low-tone bars like he’s cotched in a smokey jazz club. This is for those late-night soirees for sure.
