Consoling wordsmith Finn Foxell returns with an intimate number ‘Clear to Me’ featuring p-rallel and Kasien. 

Trailing the West Londoner’s highly anticipated ‘Talk is Cheap’ project garnering praise across the industry courtesy of his unprecedented versatility displayed within tracks such as his goosebump inducing ‘Coming In 3s’ (check his live rendition over at Lockoff) and the soothing sounds exhibited in his garage inspired ‘Herd’. The soft spoken lyricist continues to step out of his comfort zone and expand his genre-defiant sound in this fresh offering. 

Sonically Foxell turns to west born soul boy and fellow Elevation Meditation family member p-rallel for the soundscape’s eclectic atmosphere. The multi-genre producer and seasoned DJ lays down a string of woozy synths ringing throughout the ether setting the foundation as a sparse pattern of hi-hats follow forming a pliable canvas as Finn weaves through the events of a ‘love drunk’ encounter: ‘spot me in the crowd I know you see me/things blurry with a bottle of wine/scratch on my back when you lock in your thighs’. Following the tender bridge, Finn breaks off into the evocative hook as p-rallel’s production transcends into a colourful array of sonic manipulation, with stints of distortion and potent drum patterns all before handing off the lead to Kasien’s pensive verse. 

Once again Finn makes it crystal clear why he’s considered one of the leading talents within the capital’s emerging sound and just like he stated on Coming in 3’s - a ‘different kettle of fish’. So go checkout the new hypnotic track and keep them all on your radar this summer!
