UK SYNTH
Peckham-born rapper Deema has just released "UK SYNTH," featuring West London’s Bawo. Directed by Ed Peacock, the video captures the hustle and bustle of South London through CCTV footage, ending with a dramatic car crash. The track is produced by Deema’s long-time collaborator Dom Valentino, known for his work with Unknown T and Greentea Peng, and features intricate drum machine beats. This is Deema’s third single of the year, leading up to his upcoming EP "DOG WITH A £."
Deema’s journey started with his dad’s iPod, influenced by artists like Skepta and Dizzee Rascal. He got his big break performing with Lewisham’s grime collective The Square. Known for his 2020 release "Chew Your Food" and the 2021 EP "Rainbow," Deema continues to impress. Bawo, rising with his 2023 EP "Legitimate Cause," adds his unique flair to "UK SYNTH." As we await "DOG WITH A £," "UK SYNTH" shows Deema's growth and lyrical skill.
