The Masqueruade

The North meets the Midlands in the form of Immi Larusso and dylantheinfamous and their second collaborative project The Masqueruade out now on Bandcamp.

Hailing from Sheffield and Birmingham respectively, the pair blessed last year with the sumptuously smooth 77.7FM and decided not to stop there. If that project was rough sketches in a tea stained ring binder, then The Masqueruade is the complete painting framed and hung in a gallery for viewers to gawk at. 

10 sub-three minute tracks are plenty of time for the artists to express their psyche as they open up lyrically and sonically more than ever before. Dylan Gray (dylantheinfamous) picks up the mic for the visually-aided Restless, with the only other features coming from Verbz and sindysman on a project which is string-heavy in its soulful, yet lo-fi, nature. 

Harsh truths and brave admissions take centre stage at The Masqueruade.
