Bountiful rapper hailing from Northampton via Luton BXKS is back on a drill beat for her latest single ‘This Don’t Boom’. Taken from her most recent mixtape ‘Full Time Daydreamer’, this trippy visual for the track directed by Joel Mathieu shows an eclectic display of BXKS as she delivers snappy bars in a 90s style acid trip.

Supplying us with what she labels as ‘alternative grime’, BXKS has quickly risen in the music scene with her gleaming talent and energy. She said herself that ‘This Don’t Boom’ is energetic, she moves through different hypnotic and psychedelic visuals with melting backgrounds and static tv screens. 

By wanting to approach her music thoughtfully, BXKS takes inspiration from anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion which shows her playing a character and being transported to a different world. By spitting quickfire bars, she bends genres and experimental beats alongside fruitful samples which has gained her a loyal fanbase.
