The Wait
West London’s twin duo Kite and Keytan have finally dropped their much-anticipated debut EP, "The Wait," and it’s here to prove that good things come to those who wait! This marks their first collaborative project since they began their musical adventure in 2017, and it’s a celebration of years of creativity and passion, all wrapped up with the expert touch of their longtime friend and producer, KE.
From the get-go, "The Wait" grabs your attention with the lively opener, "Heidi Klum," setting a high-energy tone that makes it clear these twins are here to party. As you move through the EP, tracks like "Shawty" and "Pose" keep the beats bumping, while "Dimwiddie" offers a more introspective moment. The finale, "All Day," wraps things up with a powerful mix of emotions, showcasing the duo’s range and growth.
Kite and Keytan have clearly been hard at work honing their sound. Kite, drawing inspiration from artists like Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown, brings a unique blend of trap and melodic vibes, as seen in his previous work like "Bool Boy Volume 1" and the upcoming "Volume 2." Keytan adds his own flair, creating a playful yet polished dynamic with Kite.
KE’s production is the secret sauce that makes this EP pop. His beats and arrangements give each track a distinct flavor while keeping the whole EP sounding fresh and cohesive.
