The Low
Hailing from what locals call The Cronx, Croydon emcee Verbz is set to release a solo EP titled ‘The Low’, with the early release title track dropping last week.
Parting ways temporarily with friend and producer Mr. Slipz, Verbz’ latest endeavour will see various beatmakers take the reins with Lonewolf Mcquay recruited for the EP’s namesake which premiered on the renowned Off Licence Magazine website. The premiere saw our wordsmith backdropped by Southend-on-seas’ luminous arcade lights, directed by himself, but shot by none other than Honey JD.
The 6-track project, which promises to be a bit more methodical than past works, features a guest verse from Conrad Mundy as well vocals from Maddy. For all you collectors there is a limited run of 40 recycled plastic cassettes which houses the rather impressive artwork sketched by Odd Atlas.
‘The Low’ is out July 2nd with pre orders available now on Verbz’ Bandcamp.
