Ten Toes Down

Originally set to drop on High Focus Records ten years ago, UK veteran Dubbledge drops his long-lost album Ten Toes Down via Potent Funk.

Visuals for the title track have just landed and it’s the first time many fans have seen Edge since appearing in Problem Child alongside Dabbla, Illaman and Sumgii. It’s a rambunctious British hip-hop banger with a riotous guitar line courtesy of Forest DLG (aka Telemachus, fka Chemo). 

Edge delivers his own brand of conscious rap that’s crass, charismatic and cruddy, all wrapped up in esoteric and real life references.

The project is a brand new relic. When the label dug up Dubbledge’s decade-old treasure, they called in the formidable producer Forest DLG to revisit and remaster his 2012 work. Kyza, Micall Parknsun and T.Bear all maintain their features, showcasing their classic voices to a new generation.
