Sunsets

Clarke John recently released the carefully crafted chill-hop offering Sunsets. 

From Portland, Oregon, Clarke John has already established himself as one to watch in the Pacific Northwest. In Sunsets, Clarke John once again demonstrates that he isn't afraid to express his pain through music. A soft synth opening serves as the foundation of the track and sets the calming tone that runs throughout. Clarke seamlessly moves between suave R&B vocals and rapping with emotional vigour. 

Speaking on the single, Clarke commented:

“‘Sunsets’ takes a melancholic look back at a past relationship, expressing hope and concerns about how differently it could have gone. As a sunset represents the closing of a day, I chose that title to represent the closing of that relationship.”
