Boundlessly defiant of convention, Tamera’s multicultural upbringing - her grandparents originate from St Lucia, Nigeria, Greece and England respectively - has always been significant in her fluid, bountiful approach to creation. Always potent in her expressive writing, Tamera’s depictions of situations and emotions are subtly stunning.  Early this summer, Tamera reaffirmed her seemingly limitless talent with the provocative bop ‘Wickedest’, and on ‘Strong For Me’ she continues to illustrate the ability to merge genre and stun vocally. 

The single comes with an accompanying video directed by visionary Fuego Films. The visual representation of Tamera’s narration and musicality is astute and vivid, with delicately contrasting lighting and gorgeous styling a match made in heaven for the sonic tranquility. 

Discussing ‘Strong For Me’, Tamera commented:

“This song came at the end of a long road of transformation, it was inspired by all the grit we have to go through to get from hard times back to the good ones and how closed off it can make us towards those who are closest to us”
