Alternative rap’s idol-in-idiosyncrasy kadiata engulfs us within his widening sonic universe on Sorry.

The Angolan born, London raised crooner has been amongst the most cherished genre-bending rappers in the country for years; epitomised by his critically adorned ’21 album Lost, This Winter. Combining the sounds of UK Rap, Funk, Jazz and Afrobeats, the artist’s exuding sonic and vocal dynamism is near unparalleled, with his culture, experiences and identity gushing from each crevice of his musicality. 

On Sorry, kadiata’s laidback delivery, sharpened flow and immaculate wit are perfectly suited to the instrumental’s silky array of driving synths, booming bass and snappy percussion. kadiata’s vocal is sprinkled in autotune, as he flicks between singing and rapping, showcasing his peerless versatility.
