Newcomer Mula takes us on a trip into his slyly absurdist musical universe with slick new release Snotnose/Wicked Freestyle.

A founding member of the upcoming creative collective Society of Alumni, Mula is a British-Nigerian rapper residing in Lewisham, who claims that he has been enticed by music “since he came out of the womb”.  

Treating us to a double billing of off kilter, ominous alternative rap, Mula stakes his claim for a seat at the banquet of the rap underworld. Over unnerving instrumentals palettes that reach into claustrophobia like it’s a bag of popcorn, Mula showcases his snappy, intricate flow over the two cuts. The visuals see Mula parade the streets alongside his peculiar crew, with the ever-so-slightly terrifying animal masks enhancing the edgy soundscapes and striking lyrical approach.
