Sit Back

It's only March and we have already been gifted with two singles from the Queen of R&Drill Shae Universe, and to add some extra fire emojis to the year, she has finally announced her long-awaited debut EP Unorthodox will be due out on April 1st.

The latest drop is Sit Back featuring ENNY which sees Shae switch up the beat, subbing the R&Drill beats that she is known for with a more laidback R&B vibe which Sons Of Sonix provided. In the song, we enter Shae and ENNY's thoughts as they express their feelings or as Shae said in the song "…leave all my thoughts on page so I can free up my mind." The single encourages you to sit back and let them take you on a ride. Their voices really blend well together, the ease of the blend of powerful vocals and commanding real raps. I know I'm not the only one that would love to hear more Shae+ENNY collaborations.

Unorthodox will have 7 tracks, including Royalty with Kojey Radical, Pushin’, 111 and a Tay Iwar feature. The much anticipated project is said to be first of its kind, blending 808 slides and spartan drum patterns with Shaé’s silky vocals and emotive lyricism. Lets just say we are eagerly waiting for the 1st of April.
