Praise the Lord
Back after the release of G Lock in November, Bandokay kicks off the new year strongly with his latest track Praise The Lord. This drill offering boasts the North London rapper’s signature bars on a BKAY-produced beat, led by an eerie vocal sample.
Bandokay’s choppy flow stands prominent against the instrumental that he rides with ease, showcasing the raw lyricism that has made many flock to his sound. When coupled with the vocal sample, it gives the track a dark feel. The visuals for the track, directed by No Requests, further solidifies the ghostly feel that Praise the Lord portrays; the opening scenes of the track are set in a church illuminated by a red light followed by a range shots driving around London at night.
Coming off the back of a great 2021, it is evident that Bandokay is off to hit new milestones in his career. Praise the Lord sees the underground rapper in his familiar form and is definitely one for your playlist.
