One of the only acts to break out of the UK hip hop underground, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn make their welcome return with ‘No Sleep’, featuring Sam Tompkins.

The Brighton MC and producer pair bring on board another Brightonian in the form of Sam Tompkins, who initially found fame beside his busking compadre Ren.

From sacrifices and goals to fresh forms of love, Frankie Stew tells us his newfound parenthood truths through personable poetry. Beatsmith Harvey Gunn laces a sincere instrumental led by a trickling guitar line, plucked by Sam Tompkins in their studio session. Sam’s sleepy hook is heartfelt and raw, building on the themes of Stew’s second verse which detail his love for his partner and the joys of new life that she’s given him.
