Ragz Originale makes big waves with Knucks and Lady Donli on new single ‘No Doubt’.

The slick track has Ragz flexing not only as producer and singer, but also as director of the dark and cheeky visuals. Propelled by a deep, rolling bass for these potent joint forces to surf on, the vibes are perfected by crisp, minimal beats and glitchy synths that shimmer like light on water. Nigeria’s Lady Donli gives a smoked out Y2K flavour, reminiscent of Cam’ron’s ‘Hey Ma’, with her hook, before dropping her masterfully sly, sexy verse. Knucks is in top form on his effortlessly clever verse while Ragz locks the track up with his hypnotic melodies and captivating production. 

The official video was “inspired by a series of nightmares,” Ragz recalls, “I should probably stop watching Fargo before bed.” Following a darkly comic series of kidnappings, the visuals see Lady Donli dancing around her captive while Ragz and Knucks conceal theirs in an ice cream truck, capped off with the ultimate wink of tossing a Telfar bag alongside their quarry in the trunk. Ragz’ direction brings the neon glow of the production to life impeccably, completing the visuals with dance scenes under flickering lights. Impossible not to move to this one.
