Kickstarting the year in emphatic fashion, Birmingham creative nineteen97 drops new single Line ‘Em Up alongside Brazilian MC SD9.

Spearheading an unforgiving collaboration the no holds barred track stems from a sample loop from a Grime set featuring Bow E3-born legendary MC So Large. With a gritty tone setting the mood throughout, it is reminiscent of sounds from Atlanta’s trap scene merged with Three Six Mafia and recent Playboi Carti.

Following on from most recent release ‘Unapologetic alongside underground pioneer kwes e and Grime linchpin Footsie he went on sell out his first debut headline show in Birmingham. Arriving just in time for his recent show at Peckham Audio, we saw a glimpse of it’s raw connection with audience who struggled to contain the wall-to-wall energy.
