After a silent 2021, South London’s HEF or YS (Formerly known as YSK) is breaking the walls in 2022 with his new single Jericho featuring Broox, this is HEF’s debut single off of the upcoming 4Play EP.

Produced by VallyOnTheButtons, HEF or YS and Broox flowed seamlessly over the lo-fi chill beat as they detail the different scenarios they have to overcome. The song is about overcoming and crushing obstacles on this journey to success; both in life and when dating. Appreciation for the past and the present as we continue to knock down our Jericho’s. Also, the life HEF leads with ladies is a byproduct of obstacles being overcome. Wild and reckless!

Explaining the track, HEF or YS stated:

“Jericho was a city in the bible that had a wall (obstacle) that stood in the way of the people that wanted to conquer it. With little gradual steps, the walls of Jericho fell. That’s the same way we have faced many obstacles on the road to success, but we tackle them and overcome them.”

With this single, it’s easy to see why he is confident of breaking into the industry.
