Like something out of the aughts Birmingham-based artist AMEENAH emerges on the scene with her single D4U. Produced by Gifted, the pair draw inspiration from club classics, citing Kalya’s ‘Do You Mind’ and Egypt’s ‘In the Morning’, in skillfully actioning the delicate balance of a concrete funky track. 

After releasing a number of songs, and the blooming success of the Tuff Culture remix to her single Smoke, D4U also comes following the buzz of the artists recent single Ways. Endorsed by BBC Radio 1XTRA, Wordplay, and Reprezent Radio, the fresh singer-songwriter is catching attention as she embraces the essential coolness of funky house with her contemporary take on the dearest genre.
