Slim Papi shares his Rioja with the tenaciously talented Jam Baxter on Cosmo Kramer, lifted off his EP Châteauneuf-du-Papi. 

Sharing their vast knowledge of alcoholic beverages, Papi and Baxter reel off cultural raps over an electric guitar riff produced by Slim Papi himself. To further set the scene inside our emcees’ minds, we have a Honey JD constructed set where clever editing and camera angles make a drunken afternoon in a mates flat seem more… creative? 

The EP, which features production from Forest DLG and Kiina, also sees Sonnyjim take the mic on a project that could go down as a modern-classic in the UK Hip-hop scene. 

Slim Papi’s name perhaps carries the wrong connotations. Whereas in retrospect, learning of his love for Pisco Sours and Patrick Swayze hairstyles has made him a new favourite and one to look out for in the foreseeable- never judge a book by its cover… or an artist by their name.
