Midas The Jagaban presented us with a double whammy of visuals within the last week, alongside talented dance and a fusion of afrobeat and afroswing.

With ‘Cloud 9’ presented as a dance video, it was directed by Nathan James Tettey who also worked on ‘Skengman’ (Ghetts and Stormzy) as well as ‘Only You Freestyle’ (Headie One and Drake), Midas The Jagaban comes through with equally enticing visuals mirroring The Joker as a misunderstood mastermind and also paying homage to the Nigerian afrobeat legend Lágbájá.

Adorned in traditional attire throughout the video as well as her signature bally, she shows how multitalented she really is and has definitely become one to watch for 2021. With her iconic fusion of afrobeat and afroswing, she brings a tropical vibe into her native area of South London with an unapologetic rawness in all her tracks which make it impossible to like.
