City Splash Festival at Drumsheds 2024 Review

City Splash’s takeover of Drumsheds on November 3, 2024, was an absolute vibe! The 15,000-capacity venue, a massive converted warehouse, was the perfect playground for this indoor festival celebrating all things Caribbean and African. Think reggae, dancehall, soca, garage, and everything in between – the energy was off the charts.

The lineup was stacked with over 25 artists, DJs, and MCs, and the crowd was buzzing from the moment we stepped in. Izzy Bossy kicked things off in Z Room, delivering a sizzling electronic set with that unmistakable Caribbean and African flavor that got everyone moving. Over in the house corner, DJ Pioneer kept the beats flowing with deep house and garage grooves, making sure there was something for every kind of dancefloor lover.

But the real heat came from Stylo G in X Room. The UK dancehall legend completely shut it down with bangers like “Dumpling” – the crowd was absolutely lit. Other big names like Konshens, Teejay, and Protoje, who made a surprise appearance with Dubwise Jamaica, kept the energy high and the vibes flowing. In Y Room, Heartless Crew brought that old-school garage magic, while Rampage Sound held it down with the ultimate dancehall throwback.

And let’s talk food – that jerk chicken was fire 🔥! It was the perfect festival fuel, packing all the flavor you could want while you danced the day away.

City Splash truly nailed it by mixing iconic artists with a crowd that was 100% here for the culture. Drumsheds, with its cool industrial vibes, was the perfect venue to make it all come together. With a lineup this strong and a vibe this lit, City Splash has earned its place as one of London’s must-attend festivals. Can’t wait for the main event next summer – it’s going to be mad!
