Chocolate Pomegranate
Channelling a sensual vibe, Dreamville’s Ari Lennox returns with her new song ‘Chocolate Pomegranate’. Produced by Elite and written with Dijon Stylez, the jazzy production creates a laid back and relaxing feeling as Ari Lennox’s vocals flow with such ease. This slow-burner track is made for intimate nights with a lover and how Ari Lennox has been able to portray such a feeling into a song is phenomenal. The title of the song can take on many meanings; some have interpreted it as meaning a love that takes a lot more effort, like the effort required to get to the seeds of a pomegranate or a love that is sweeter than what the pair have touched on the surface. Whatever the true interpretation may be, each second of this four-minute track is beautiful from start to finish.
This track was performed first on Genius’ Open Mic at Home series in collaboration with Reebok and fans are excited to finally able to stream it. ‘Chocolate Pomegranate’ is the first release after Ari Lennox dropped ‘BUSSIT’, as well as featuring on the new Spillage Village album Spilligion. Hopefully, this is the start of Ari Lennox preparing for a new album and fans can’t wait to hear what she has in store.
