Breeze
Nottingham-native Slacs Bianci drops his first single of the year alongside fellow hometown rapper Garton. ‘Breeze’, brings a melting pot of sound rooted in hazy-trap infused percussion and delicate, cloudy melodies, making for an ethereal canvas in which for the rapper/producer and featured artist, Garton, to paint out their direct lyricism within their nonchalant flows.
Released through The Pit LDN’s label, the self-produced single brings a much lighter sound to its trap influence. Enrolling alternatively-minded melodies within the hook, soft but percussive keys within its production and intriguing use of autotune throughout. Slacs comes through with a shy yet confident demeanour within his verse, whilst Garton takes a more upfront approach.
Although ‘Breeze’ comes as Slacs Bianci’s first release of the year, he has much more in his armoury, with his forthcoming album ‘Useless, Boredom’ on the horizon. With a work rate through the roof, releasing two full-length projects only last year, the Nottingham-raised artist isn’t taking any breaks.
