BETWEEN HELLO & GOODBYE

Already gaining comparisons to household name Loyle Carner, Manchester’s growing rap duo Fieves have unveiled their latest body of work, ‘Between Hello & Goodbye’. Formed by rapper Finnerz and producer DJ Yves Jones, Fieves are spearheading the Northern underground rap scene. Reputable for creating a genre-bending sound that seamlessly blends Dance and UK Hip-Hop in with conscious rap, the pair are continuously proving why they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Spread across 5 tracks that detail themes of introspection, growth, connection, and addiction, ‘Between Hello & Goodbye’ flaunts their experimental flare. Laced with textured beats that weave vulnerability throughout, creating pools of depth and emotion, the pair have called on fellow rising songstress Nyah Grace for stand-out track, “Million Faces”. Acting as a milestone in their career thus far, ‘Between Hello & Goodbye’ captures Fieves’ resilience further cementing them as an artist to watch over the coming year.

When asked about the inspiration behind the EP, Fieves explained, “Between Hello and Goodbye” explores our personal stories as young men trying to find our way in the ever-changing landscape of modern Britain. Tackling themes of addiction, loss and heartbreak as well as new steps and challenges, we hope that people are able to resonate with its messages no matter their background or stage in life. For us, this is everything in between hello and goodbye.”
