Skin Tight

Ravyn Lenae returns with Skin Tight, her first single in nearly two years, and without disappointment. The 23-year-old Chicago native brings us a delightful collab featuring Steve Lacy. The two previously graced us with their synergy on 4 Leaf Clover and Computer Luv featured on her 2018 EP, Crush. 

Skin Tight, comes to us released alongside an animated music video, directed by London-based visual and graphic artist Zongbo Jiang, noted in Dazed for his musing and surreal digital projects. 

From her early releases and throughout, the young artist continues to demonstrate her grasp on the goodness of R&B as she takes the genre and skillfully offers it back to us in her unique and contemporary style.

Produced by Lacy, Lenae gives us effortless soul on this soft yet groovy track, signaling a promising release in anticipation of her studio album set to drop later this year. The song is a slow burner and Lacy seamlessly compliments Lenae with her mellow lyrics, invoking a sense of nostalgia; letting us into her world.
