1 2 WATCH: Just Banco

We look North for our next 1 2 WATCH featured artist; our gaze is firmly fixed on Manchester’s Just Banco, who has just unleashed his ‘Hayfever Freestyle’.

The Trafford native has been turning heads for a while now, dropping various hit singles such as ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Sweet Like Sorbet’, as well as featuring on Kenny Allstar’s Mad About Bars last year. After a short hiatus, the ‘Trapanese’ frontrunner is back impressing critics and fans alike with his signature blend of R&B, grime and real rap. 

Banco’s new single is one of his most effective efforts yet. Short and sharp, the hooky vocal is instantly distinguishable by Banco’s thick Manchester accent and laidback, nuanced flow. None of the lyricism feels forced; it feels as if Banco is merely strolling around the soundscape, dropping off philosophical thoughts and observations.
