NOSMOKE by DBL A is another fantastic single from the promising Northern UK based scene full of talented artists like Fieves, Sweets, meimei, JAY MALAKHI, and Elcee The Alchemist, amongst so many others. 

The 22-year-old Yorkshire emcee recently performed with heavyweight spitter Finnerz (one half of Fieves), who we have reviewed positively before, and has no plan to slow down any time soon. ‘My flow don’t know any limits’ he repeats as he floats over the trippy almost glitch hop/trap influenced beat. 

NOSMOKE is the second release of the year for the rapper. His confident bars and catchy flows partnered with the skippy production of West Yorkshire producer B-SEEN bring a refreshing sound, employing influences of lo-fi dance, as well as old school grime flows.

‘Done with the neeks and haters, them lot are cheesy, know that I’m greater, say they’re on smoke but I only see vapour’ he raps with his tongue in cheek charisma. The Yorkshire based artist shows so much promise with this short but sweet single - ‘they ain’t on the same page that I’m on’ he asserts. 

Having grown up in the digital era, first hand witnessing grime, drill and other sub genres of UK rap all have their come up - his sound is an amalgamation of many, breathing fresh air into the UK’s underground scene.
