Canadian based soulstress and songwriter Nuela Charles has returned with her second single in as many months Worthy. 

Pushing feminine strengths and self-empowerment, Nuela dances along the beginning bass riff with her playful vocals in what is an ever-evolving funky affair.

Our vocalist comes from Kenya originally, before moving to Switzerland and eventually Canada where she built up a following and received 3 Juno-Award nominations for her self-released albums. 

This then is the first tease of Nuela’s fourth album and drops alongside Awakening which was released in April- for context fans were last granted an album in 2019 so are chomping at the bit for the next instalment. 

Festival shows pre you-know-what gave Nuela a strong rep in terms of stage presence with UK and US appearances as well a visit to Germany’s Reeperbahn Festival. The visuals for this one certainly confirm this. Take a peek below because I guess you’re worthy.
