Wish You Knew My Name
20 years ago, multi-Grammy winning producer Tony CD Kelly created one of the most legendary dancehall songs of it’s era with Beenie Man, ‘Bookshelf’. The song then went on to be part of another legendary dancehall artist’s catalogue with Sean Paul’s ‘Deport Dem’.
As it has come up to 20 years of this classic riddim, Tony has decided to get one of the hottest up and coming dancehall acts to give it a 2018 twist, an act he has been managing who goes by the name Khalia. Khalia has previously featured on records with dancehall legends such as Tifa, Busy Signal & I-Octane, which have made her one of the most promising talents coming out of Jamaica. Not to mention her back to back hits with Stonebwoy himself!
‘My Name’ was released in visual form, directed by Camron Media, earlier this week and certainly do not disappoint.
