WILD WILD WEST

On ‘WILD WILD WEST’, Double Cup Kase rides the instrumental with ease with all the cheekiness and bravado that you expect from a UK rapper.

Before releasing the song, he warned fans on Twitter that something is “coming in hot” referring to his unleashed song at the time. ‘Wild Wild West’ can only be an ode to West London, as he reps his part of the city with pride. In recent years, the West side of London has produced top MCs like Fredo, AJ Tracey, Digga D, Big Zuu and Central Cee.

This one is a close look at the artist's upbringing and how it shaped his current lifestyle, he admits to a hard upbringing but in certain situations like “007 when I get my stick” implying violence to his enemies. He smoothly transitions from rap to singing melodies on the track but his voice doesn’t lose the rough greazy tone. The beat, produced by Time LVPSE, jumps around, reminding me of DaBaby’s tracks ‘Bop’ and ‘Goin Baby’ making you want to bop to the music.

The West London rapper has already released two projects ‘OD.D’ and ‘OD Business’, and his latest single proves that he is one to watch.
