Tim Burt
Congo-born, Ottawa-raised rapper Keynes Woods delivers long-awaited visuals for hard-hitting anthem 'Tim Burt'. The song is taken from Keynes most recent project 'Kongo Kane' a 5-track EP released in February which is a salute to his alter and an introduction to his alter ego.
Visually this is a cinematic rollercoaster that explores the artist’s duality which sees him confront his past and future self, eventually leading to a game of cat and mouse between the two versions of himself. Shot in London, Directed by Luke Tierney who perfected the dual character concept, gripping the viewer’s attention with a combination of playfulness and intense drama.
Keynes says of the video;
“I wanted something for the streets, something fun and energetic that takes inspiration from those iconic videos from the 2000’s, It’s the first time people are going to see me since Groovy, Kongo KANE is a celebration and I want to kick things off with a bang! Tim Burt is one of my favourite tracks, it goes off when I perform it live so if we can capture that magic, that sense of fun, that electricity in a video and make it something people want to come back to over and over again."
