Louis VI’s latest release “Jazz Got Me” featuring Mick Jenkins effectively junctures smooth London sound with North American rhapsodic wizardry. With an even seasoning of trumpet stabs and jazz percussions, a rich and polished sound has been ultimately achieved. With theories of belief and environmental awareness, this song really delves into the more sophisticated thoughts and aspects of human life; further aiding the rich and foreign feel of the song. Louis VI really knocked this track out of the park. Executed to a tee, nothing is left to be desired in this song. This is nothing short of pure work of art. Louis VI used superb intuition and smarts for inclusion of Mick Jenkins on the feature. Hats off to Louis for the amazing work.
