Sunday 2 Sunday

This one is for the weeks when the work won’t end. ‘Sunday 2 Sunday’ is an ode to the hard grind. Last seen on the mammoth Silhouettes Project, MC and digital artist Kieron Boothe comes through with one of his best tracks to date. He even drew the artwork himself.

The tune is produced by another Silhouettes Project alumna, Colombian born Alma De La Selva, who brings an unconventional instrumental to back the East London lyricist. Infused with latin flavours and brass parts, her production is relatively beat-less, leaving Boothe’s bars to ruminate over an almost-eerie ambiance.

He spits about working every day in order to keep things straight, with this tune being a clear example of his dedication paying off. It’s that late-night, desklamp hip hop to keep things moving when the caffeine fades.

With his music continuing to find fresh ears, Kieron Boothe recently went up against Harlem’s Swave Sevah in a Banger4Banger showdown on The WireTap. The man now has even more bangers in the bank.

Stream ‘Sunday 2 Sunday’ from Sunday to Sunday every week.
