SIPHO. - Live in London

An unsuspecting gem in Hackney known as the Moth Club is the chosen venue for the London leg of SIPHO.’s headline tour. The small stage instantly commands the audience's attention, drawing our gaze with its accent wall featuring wispy gold tassels, the iridescent purple lighting catching the gold just right, completing the vibe for the evening.

The opening act, Chrissi, has just given us a light hearted yet personal acoustic set to ensure the show is well underway, and the bar has been set.

Following the opening set, the band emerge to ready their instruments. His energy already radiant, he engages the crowd and begins with introducing his band, the bond between them visible. ‘S.I.P.H.O. it’s pronounced SEE-PO’ he says, making sure his moniker has left its mark on the crowd before he gets down to business.

From the opening song through to the last, SIPHO. manoeuvres the stage and the audience wholly and with immense energy, his band proving they’re perfect wingmen for winning over the crowd. Curating a selection of songs, ‘some old, some new and some special’, he finds the perfect balance in his setlist, with each track moving seamlessly to the next despite the broad spectrum of genres offered. His vocals are smooth but powerful, with his skill and dedication on full display. SIPHO. looks comfortable and in his element, routinely checking in with the intimate crowd, his interactions feel sincere as he exchanges banter with members of the audience.

Never failing for a moment to keep the audience engaged, SIPHO. brought the room alive and truly gave us an unforgettable and immersive experience.
