Rip It Up

Further expanding on a deliberately indefinable theme, Domo Gorille presents ‘Rip It Ip’ the second single from his debut E.P ‘The Sublime’. This latest offering from the illustrator/rapper is a thought-provoking piece with an equally provocative visual. The impression from the title and the morose beat is that there is a deep subliminal desire within many to violently push boundaries. Awash with metaphors, the visual sees Domo and his associates observing a naive girl leave her keys hidden outside the door of her luxury apartment. They proceed to enter, unperturbed by any conventions of morality or even stealth. Herein lies a deliberate desire to replicate an extreme reality on your own terms.  

Drunk on talent, Domo Gorille is laying all the foundations for an ever replenishing artistic future, ‘Rip It Up’ is yet another splinter in this stand-alone figure’s smashed mirror multifacetedness.
