Right There
Returning with his second single of the year, Jerome Thomas brings his gentle, neo-soul melodies on ‘Right There’. Accompanied by upbeat percussion and perfectly-placed instrumentation, the production creates a colourful canvas in which for the London-based musician to establish his forward-thinking harmonies and effortless songwriting within. Working again with digital artist and painter ELI, the pair create an ethereal illustrated piece for the artwork, furthering the track's imagery.
Continuing to fathom his singular style and further his experimental approach to bringing in a range of influences and genres to his sound, this release adds further to the tapestry of boundary-pushing music coming out of the capital. Having released the incredible, electro-soul infused ‘I Don’t Need’ alongside experimental-jazz duo Blue Lab Beats just earlier this year and with the release of his debut project ‘Mood Swings (Volume One)’ in 2019, the rest of the year should be looking to be an exciting one, for the all-encompassing musician.
