We didn’t know that we needed Donae’o to remix ‘Party Hard’, but we’re lucky he did. Just over a decade later, introducing a crisp new sound, he sharpens the afro-inspired percussion on production. By keeping the essential elements of ‘Party Hard’ consistent and polished, the legendary artist has brought one of the most recognisable melodies on the dance floor into 2020.
In the famous words of Chazz in Blades of Glory, more commonly recognised in these circles as the sample from ‘Ni**as In Paris’, ‘Party Hard’ doesn’t just create nostalgia, “it gets the people the going”. Donae’o delivers fresh bars while at the same time referencing other scene-shaping records that dominated raving in the late noughties.

Sometime in the future people will be able to enjoy the bubbly and cut shapes into the night, but for now, we’ll have skank to the new ‘Party Hard’ from our bedrooms.
