Many rap legends have come from the underbelly of Britains streets such as Slick Rick, Skinnyman and Roots Manuva. 6-man group RU1 FAM are steadily holding the flag and bringing that old school flair back to UK rap. You can tell that Hip Hop runs through each members veins just be perusing their socials and listening with a keen ear to their music. RU1 FAM have recently released their full-length project Otito with a healthy serving of Boom Bap knockers, conscious mantras and shining charisma from the many characters that bless the beats.
