Mash up the Dance
There’s no denying that this is another summer of jungle.
Drum and bass supergroup Watch The Ride (Randall, DJ Die and Dismantle) bring onboard new-gen star Nia Archives for their clattering single Mash up the Dance. Vocalled and co-produced by the rising junglist herself, Nia further stakes her claim for junglist queendom.
Watch The Ride’s previous collaborations include D Double E and Emz, but this one takes the disco biscuit. Plus, a track like Mash up the Dance makes even more sense when you’re mashed up in the dance.
Out via Rinse FM, the tune’s visuals include historic never-seen-before footage from Rinse itself, with Nia Archives and Geenus (Rinse FM founder) co-directing the video.
It’s homaging to the old but as original as any other nuttah.
