Jazz Cafe Festival + Autumn/Winter Season Preview 2024

The Jazz Cafe Festival 2024 kicked off this summer in South London's Burgess Park, turning it into a musical wonderland and bidding adieu to summer in style! Festival-goers were treated to an electrifying lineup featuring global sounds, with South African sensation Moonchild Sanelly and the charismatic Syrian artist Omar Souleyman stealing the spotlight. Moonchild lit up the stage with her fiery electro-rap, while Omar’s modern twist on traditional Arabic dabke had everyone dancing like nobody was watching!

With unforgettable performances from the Buena Vista All Stars and their irresistible Afro-Cuban beats, it was impossible not to groove along. Earl Sweatshirt took the intimate Plant Room by storm, delivering a hypnotic set that left fans mesmerized. Although the Plant Room felt a little cozy for such star power, any minor hiccups were quickly overshadowed by the festival's vibrant energy. The Jazz Cafe Festival 2024 wrapped up summer on a high note, and we can hardly wait for its return!
