have a great day

Leicester’s easy life enter the chat to remind us why ‘there’s always a silver lining’ with sunny contribution ‘have a great day’ ahead of the release of their upcoming debut album ‘Life’s a Beach’

Easy Life’s signature voice Murray Mutravers comes forth to tells us about the sweet sounding track, saying:

The cheerful inspiration taken from the frontman is seen through by the backing bands’ easy-going assortment of distant chimes echoing through the atmosphere, soft crashing drum sequences and an idealistic guitar riff at the end of each verse that could almost place you on the white sands of Honolulu. Murray, comes through with that distinguished raspy voice of his accompanied by humorous wordplay with an idealistic outlook of life in mind: ‘life’s too short to give a shit, so don’t let the seagulls steal ya chips’. The genre-less singer breaks off into a head swaying melody as he reminisces about a short romantic stint across a warm weekend, picking up on all the little things that made up a great day from: catching some solar waves, late night binge watching and not caring about noise complaints.

Personally, this has to be one of my favourite offerings from the five manned band hailing from just around the corner with its euphoric harmonies, witty wordplay and tender instrumental.

‘Have a Great Day’ seems to truly encapsulate Easy Life’s whole soul with its undeniably feel good sound and with ‘Life’s a Beach’ set to drop in a matter of days (May 28th) - I can’t see any reason not to bang this one out in preparation for the East-Midlands based collective’s highly anticipated debut album. Plus it’ll transport you to a warmer place while the UK is doing UK things like pouring with rain during the run up to summer. So go run up them numbers and have a great day.
