Goodfellas

Squeeks, Rimzee & Born Trappy come together to create the song ‘Goodfellas’, a collaboration that we didn’t know we needed until we heard it.

Squeeks has had a resurgence recently, showing everyone that he represents the real rap that everyone loves in an era of drill beats. The North Londoner from Islington draws inspiration from the classic gangster film Goodfellas directed by Martin Scorsese in 1990. His raspy voice is low toned, painting a clear picture of the streets no bullshit and calls out all the fake rappers.

Born Trappy’s melody ties the whole track together with a wavy flow as he contemplates the consequences of musical success. ‘Goodfellas’ comes after singles ‘Jailhouse’ and ‘How Many Times’ were released earlier on during the year, as well as a freestyle with Fumez The Engineer.

Everything Rimzee touches turns to gold with the singles he’s dropped this year, as he hops on this track to lay down a cold verse, with clever word play referencing the famous Spiderman saying ‘great power comes great responsibility’ and shouts out to Youtubers/Influencers Young Filly and Chunkz.
