Farmland

Northampton’s DeBe continues to demonstrate his style and distinctive personality in the visuals to his latest track, ‘Farmland’. The rising star, off the back of his 2019 EP ‘Life of Reilly’, really brings the comedic element to the visuals of ‘Farmland’ – encapsulating every notion brought forward in the song itself. His fluid approach, and tone, diverts the attention from the fact that he actually introduces the song with “I see pigs, sheep, goats and chickens” but I’m telling you, it’s all justified as the song progresses. Following on with punchlines, delivered with mighty conviction, exemplifying wordplays that encourage the wheel up, DeBe categorically puts himself on a pedestal as being truly unique. Refreshing.

Set in a rural environment, the video positions DeBe as being this scarecrow like figure, transforming the image of what we know as a scarecrow. It’s certainly got edge, it’s punchy, humorous and witty, whilst never losing the feel of a real, authentic, UK hit.
