Exclusive Premiere: Laura Roy - Company

‘Company’ is the sultry third single off Laura Roy's forthcoming project FORTE dropping this Friday on all digital music platforms.

FORTE is the highly anticipated 2018 EP release from the Canadian R&B/Pop artist who relocated from Toronto, Canada to London, UK in September 2017. A single release earlier this year of the project’s fourth track, ‘Temporary’ produced by UK artist/producer GEO, showed a soulful, jazz-tinged side to Laura’s music and promised for more with the announcement of her second EP titled Forte set for release Sept. 28, 2018. Laura wrote,

“Vulnerability was a skill that I had to learn and get comfortable with in order for me to heal from the things that I had gone through and to then, write some of the most personal music I have written to date”

From the gut wrenching post-breakup confessionals, ‘You Did’ and ‘Not My Fault’ to the sultry tones and nature of ‘Company’ and ‘Temporary’, Laura tells a story of heartbreak, healing and human connection.
